as title....what is the difference between be90 and be90 open? I am late entering one and they have said I could go in the open but will only be our nd one after SLM on weekend (report to follow after exam tomorrow!!) so is there any difference in course height or technicality? Not bothered about competing as such as just building both of our confidence up as he is still baby so don't mind if goin against proper ponies and riders just don't want us to be over phased

Thaaaaanks

Everything is the same except riders and horses who are not eligible for a normal section can compete, in other words you could be competing against Mary King or an old 4* horse but if you just want the experience and are not bothered with a placing then go for it! In reality, pro's only tend to enter young horses or you get the odd amateur with a horse that has points but has a jockey who is getting experience at that level.

No difference to size or technicality. The open just means that horses or riders that are overqualified for BE90 can be competitive.

ok great thanks guys. As I said at the moment I'm only bothered about gettign us both arouns safely and doing each other justice. As long as he does a good dresage(no excuse not to!) and we improve SJ and get round xc clear I'm a happy bunny. I'd probably squeal if I was competing against Mary King....major girl crush :p
