Quick BE tack Question

There is nothing I can find in the rule book but am dosed up to the eyeballs on anti-cold/flu meds so being a bit vacant - can I use a sheepskin girth cover BE, particularly in the dressage? I know they are funny about sheepskin cheekpieces, but are girth sleeves ok? Cannot see why they would not be, but thought I should check.

Im pretty sure they are ok as long as not too bulky id say.

Jumping you can use anything but id keep it as minimal as poss for the dressage

It is only sheepskin on the inside, and it is black as is all my tack, so not too 'obvious'. I will check when I get there I suppose, but having never needed to use one before I haven't a clue whether it is allowed or not.

Oh if it is black then im sure that would be fine, check with a dressage steward when you go and get your numbers

I've used sheepskin dressage girth covers no problem in int/adv tests. Never been told off!!

Excellent. In that case if I do get told off I shall say 'but Boss said it was fine'.

I couldn't see any good reason why I shouldn't use one, but you never know with affiliated comps and random rules!

Not used one BE but definitely used at BD with no problems, you will be fine.

I have used one at BE in the past, at one event I was asked to remove rubber biscuits off the bit (didnt know they werent allowed) took them off with help from the steward, then found out at the next event that said bit was illegal for dressage!
