I was browsing on the net as I am one of those annoying people with big hair so need quite a big hat.

I came across this site http://www.equestrianclearance.com/

and thought I would give them a go

At the moment I am just going to be doing general riding and learning polo so I definitely want my own hat and gloves. Any recommendations or advice for hats and gloves?

My aunt got me brogini dressage boots for christmas but I am not sure if they are suitable for polo. Am I just best off with chaps and jodphur boots?

I will be buying a BC in person for obvious reasons. Dont know if I need one though as I just find them restrictive and uncomfortable. Can anyone recommend any?

You guys must be thinking bloody noob :D

Hat - the one that fits! Go into a saddlery and just try on as many as you can, there is just no substitute for that.
Gloves - I like roekis for competing, but for everyday I just use cheapy ones as I loose them all the time!
I wouldn't worry about what you have on your feet if you are just starting to learn to play polo. I personally don't wear my long boots for everyday as they cost a fortune! I just wear jod boots and chaps. My boots are musto (from eq clearence) and my chaps are ariat (loads of different sizes).
