As you all liked the last video so much, I thought I'd share another. Tying placenta's was a skilled I had to learn quickly when work with Thoroughbreds and it is super easy once you know how. At the National Stud, we had to do it without string which is whole different level of achievement! But most people will be using baler twice so enjoy....


I've always done this is I've been present at the birth as it helps the mare cleanse better and preserves the placenta better for examination to check that you have all the bits.
