Quick help needed please..

Star has cut herself out on a walk - we think on barbed wire.

It hasn't bled a lot but it's about 2 inches long and looks quite deep. I think it is hurting her quite a lot.

We called the vet and he thought it could wait until tomorrow.. what do you think?

When Matty needed stitches in her chest it was done 24 hours after the incident and she was fine. However, if you think she is hurting she may need a piankiller.

She has settled down now. She was ok walking home but went a bit trembly back in the house but she seems ok again now, I've wrapped her up in a blanket.

If you have any Rescue Remedy give her some, it will help her with any anxiety she is feeling.

Leah used to get scrapes and cuts quite regularly in her younger, more adventurous days - I just washed them out with warm salt water and left them. They were never too deep though. I'm sure she'll be fine until tomorrow, as long as it's kept nice and clean.

Vet said just to leave it so we have done - I don't think she'd be happy with us if we went near her with salt water! I thought she was tough but it would appear she is not! Poor girly is feeling very sorry for herself.
