Quick hoof question please, Does

No event lines a few weeks after a lame episode mean there was no laminitis?
Have just been asked and while I would like to think that no lines means no laminitis I'm really not sure.
Please can someone advise? Will put in veterinary in case wrong section!

Low grade laminitis wont cause event lines.

That just goes to show that I shouldn't write a quick reply without thinking about all the possibilities. It's certainly possible to have LGL and no event lines. It's also possible to have event lines that are nothing to do with Laminitis. My grey had big ones from when she was weaned.
