Quick - Hunter wellies?

Very quick one as I'm at work and shouldn't be on here

- can anyone comment on the sizing of Hunter wellies? I'm a 7 in shoes and an 8 in trainers so don't know which to go for - thinking an 8 as I'll be wearing thick socks, or do they take that into account with the sizes?

Many thanks in advance - have dad on the other end of the phone wanting to buy me some for christmas hence the sudden panic

I'm a size 8 in all shoes but my hunters are a 7 and they fit me with my very thick wooley socks on AND gel insoles (I put these in to protect my back). Just check the calf sizes though as my legs are 15 1/2" around the calf and I can only wear these with my jods on, my jeans don't fit into them.
 
I'm a 7 in everything, including my hunters (although mine are about 8 years old, so they may have changed). I can wear several pairs of socks under mine if necessary.
 
They probably won't last long enough to be put on eBay anyway, even if you only wear them once and decide they don't fit...

I'm assuming you've bought the Originals anyway.

I might have found a source of the originals that still have 'Made in Scotland' stamped on them so I can only live in hope.
