I didn't know NFU Mutual were not the same as NFU local branches. I have rung NFU Mutual, who I am with for the horses, tack and trailer, to get a car quote and they couldn't give me one as they don't cover my postcode so they gave me the local branch which is when I found out the above. Therefore I can't get any discount for having multiple things insured and also would have to ring up both separately if I want to change anything to horses and car as they can view details of the other group.
Question (finally) is who are you lot insured with - NFU or NFU Mutual? Sorry for waffle!
Also to hijack my own post if you're not with NFU for car who are you with and are they good? I have been quoted a £30 quid rise a month for insurance this year so having a look around.
