She is only hobbling about but is much better. Prepared to put weight on the leg although, obviously, prefers to just stand in the sun and sleep! This morning she tried to paw the ground as she saw the hay coming so appears to have much better control over the leg. She is a complete b*tch with the bute and will not eat her feed with it so we had to withold her hay until she did!

So progressing slowly

Agree bute is a nightmare to get into them!!! Ditto the other suggestion, marmite or a bit of brewers yeast!

If I could get Marmite here it wouldn't be going in the horse feed!

Thanks for the suggestions though - I put a touch more cider vinegar in and she seems to accept that. We are now back on Devil's Claw, which there are no problems with.

Just hoping it doesn't rain as they can't stay in the garden if it does - it turns into a mud bath - and to get her in she has to go down a slope, up two steps and up the ramp in the barn to her stable, which might be tricky.
