4yo, welsh B Gelding, named Rio.

Not great, but just so you guys can have a gander, obviously you cant see how pretty his head is because mother has positioned herself in the way. Tut.

He's a cheeky chap, very confident about himself, so I thought "oh why not, lets throw you in at the deep end and put some tack on you."

Saddle, no problem, girth not so keen on. Had a little bit of a bronc at first, but much happier when I am stood by his side (awh:p). So after two days we are getting better, not having a hissy quite as much when the saddle first goes on, and walking around with it on, taking it all in his stride :) He is surprisingly more happy walking with it on, than he is standing with it on.

Happy to have the bridle on and loves the bit in his mouth lol. The only thing really is he has no idea about manners and is a bit pushy because he's not had much done with him, but he's very sweet and follows you about, and very trusting of me already.

I wouldn't normally get on with them as quickly, but I think he really does need it as he's very cheeky! Bless the little man.

He will make a fantastic little show pony with some work, he has totally got the moves going on, and the looks to go with it! What a bargain!

Complimentary photo of Darcy and Murphy just because they are cute and might feel left out. I had two non-riding kids having a go around on them today, they loved it and were both total stars! (horses and kids lol)

Thanks guys, I can't wait to get him out to some shows and see what the judges make of him! After a few battles of will I think he will be smashing (once he learns who is incharge lol)
