Quick Q re exercise sheet sizing!

That size exercise rug would a horse that wears a 6'6" rug need? Thanks!

My horse is a 6'3/6'6 and has 4'9 exercise sheets. She also has a 5' one but it's not overly big

Yeah my horse that is 6ft 6 takes a 4ft9 exercise sheet too.

Thanks! I am considering one of the Rambo Newmarket wrap around exercise sheets..... just wasn't sure what size to opt for. Anyone know if they come up big, small or on-size?

I have a Rambo newmarket competition sheet and the large fits my 16 2 TB who takes a 6'6" in rugs perfectly.

I would measure from just infront of the point of the wither, to whereever you want the exercise sheet to come to, to see how long you need.

My mare is a 15hh Welsh, takes a 6ft3 in rug because she is chunky, but she isnt long and only takes a small in the rambo sheets, which is 4ft3 (I fit her excersise sheets slightly on the smaller side as she doesnt like them flapping, and a medium dangles off her bum). A friend has a horse in 6ft6 rugs and the medium (4ft7) is a bit long on him, but not stupid.

Rambo Newmarket wrap around exercise sheets

They come in funny sizes. If I was you I'd go for the 4'11. I have both the 4'7 (medium) and the 4'11 (large) and I tend to use the large one on my mare who takes 6'3 in horseware turnout rugs. It would fit a horse a bit bigger than her nicely.

ETA. I've just read Cherio's post... now everyone will be confused! Maybe it will depend on how chunky your horse is or what's going cheap on ebay.

Thanks everyone for the info on the Rambo exercise sheet. I'm rekoning a Large will be best for mine (she's the WBxTB in my avatar, so isn't terribly chunky and wide.)
