I'm considering buying a new T4 as we seem to be getting on well with the one we have on loan.

The one I have just now is a wide but I need to use the fish to narrow it a bit and saddler things he's more of a medium wide.

I'm going to order one online (much cheaper) and get the fitter to adjust but I'm a bit confused - are they like the Wintec where you need a different gullet plate for each fitting?

On the web site I'm looking on you can order various sizes of gullet bars -s so is this what I need to do get the MW saddle and then as he fills out (which I think he will) buy a new bar each time?

If you buy the wide as you are using now, and insert the fish, you can remove these as he fills out. Depending on how much he widens, you may need to buy a new gullet, but they are not expensive.

I would def not get one that is the right size without anyfishes in, would get one where its the right size with the middle size fish in, so that if they get thinner or fatter you can still fit it, so I too would get the wide and use fish

The new models have the adjustable gullets like Wintec and FISH. The older models just have the FISH system.

Check carefully that you get the newer one with the gullets as they are far more flexible for fitting, my saddler put a new gullet in my mares for £15.
