So my boy has cut his leg open for the second time this year in the field and I think my only option now is turnout boots. Both injuries were serious, skin grafts for the previous injury and now stitches for this one. Just want to know what your recommendations are for boots as he is clearly accident prone. Thank you :)

In your situation I cant really see a reason not to turnout in boots!

Pros:
-Protect legs
-Prevent expensive vets bills
-peace of mind
-clean(er) legs in winter

Cons:
-may make your horses legs hot
-?expense

i just use an old pair of brushing boots both fores and hinds with a pair of over reach boots to prevent pulling shoes whilst playing

You can always try it and if your horse really objects then stop?
