Any ideas please??

Am off to work so will reply later and reply to all those kind people who PM'd me!!!

Thanks!

hi there

If you are handing over money to them they should give you a receipt really, it should have their address, name, amount paid, date, what they have described for sale (ie free of vices etc, gelded/etc etc) and obviously check the passport!

Ooohhh very excited for you!!! what colour!!!!

I write my own receipts. Personally, I'd want assurance of him being bombproof and suitable as a first pony, for if you ever let anyone ride him or if you sold him on.
I would write:

xxx paid for (name of pony) xx inch (colour) miniature shetland, 6 years old. Sold as broken to ride, and drive. (name) is suitable as a first pony, and is sold as in good health and fit for the pupose afore mentioned. Sold with (any tack/ rugs).

name (seller)(sig)(date)
name (buyer) (sig)(date)

seller keet one copy, and you keep the other.
