My friend is off on Monday to sell a few bits of tack and rugs she doesn't need at a equine car boot sale thing and she's offered to take a saddle of mine to sell, if possible.

It's a Thorowgood Griffin Selecta, black, no fish, 16.5", think it's M/W or W (can't find receipt at the mo!) and has been on my horse maybe 6 times - just never fitted. Immaculate with all three sets of knee rolls.

What do you reckon I should ask for it?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi,

I have sold a Thorowgood 17.5" xw used saddle at a car boot. I wanted £100 for it but got £75.

I sold my 18" Thorowgood xxw almost new (used only a handful of times) on Ebay and made £225.

I sold a Wintec 16.5" on Ebay and got £150

Thing is with Car boots is it depends on how popular they are (how many people turn up) but people want a bargain and don't seem to want to pay allot but if she doesn't sell it for what you want there is always Ebay.

I don't know if any of that helps?

It does thanks, Sedgemoor!

I had the figure of £100 ono thinking £75/£80 would be ok...

Thanks again!:)
