Quick question - leaving a horse out all night for the first time?!

I am off to help at Chatsworth tomorrow and the normal holiday cover has just had knee surgery so will find turning in and out very difficult... Do I take a deep breath and just turn my precious ex-racehorse out at night for the first time?! He has been a little bit fresh of late but is generally quite a sensible sweetie and is now reasonably bonded to my other horse who will not mind being out overnight in the least bit.

Yay or Nay?!
