Cleaning my boy for a show tomorrow for the first time (this afternoon) and think I'm going to have to bandage his legs to keep them clean (they're white).

I've found a couple of guides but just wanted to know if anyone has any tips on how to do it? I know I have to be careful and will get someone more knowledge to check them for me once done :)

Put some gamgee underneath to avoid pressure points, the bandage should be wrapped tails to tails ie. the end of the bandage should end up facing the tail of the horse, and the overlaps should be the same size. Also the tensions should be even.

Thanks Diva! :) I'm hoping the tail flap on his rug will keep the top of his tail pretty clean and then I'm going to put the rest in tights lol :D

I was always taught to, and still do, bandage over pads or gamgee to avoid pressure points as someone says... you should never do it without unless you are very very experienced :)

I was pretty sure you would know not to bandage a tail overnight but thought it might help someone else. Good luck at the show and please let us know how you get on.
