Can anyone help with a question re dress code at affiliated ODE (intro level)? I have a dark grey jacket with a black colour. It's herringbone but I'm not sure if it counts as tweed or not. Should I wear a white stock or a coloured one?
Thank you

i should think (i dont do BE) that for Dressage its jacket,stock/tie, showjumping is the same and XC is your XC colours + backprotector....
i think for dressage you should wear a white one, but i "think" either is fine

Your jacket sounds nice - cream or white stocks are good with black or navy show jackets. Coloured stocks more appropriate with hacking jackets. For example I have a greyish greeny tweed with navy velvet collar, and wear a navy gingham check stock. You see lots of people with Black or blue jackets with either white or cream stocks

So I guess it depends on how black your jacket is. Maybe a nice cream stock sounds like it would be nice with it on what you have said. But to be honest I wouldn't worry too much. I have never heard of anyone being pulled up for the colour of their stock/jacket and you do see most combinations.
