We had a dog on dog collision yesterday, with mine running full pelt one way and other dog running full pelt at a right angle and they crashed (I winced) head into shoulder type. Both labs so can get to quite a speed chasing each other to a ball lol. Mine rolled quite a bit and checked both seemed ok, mine had bitten tongue but otherwise well.

Limped last night but she can do that after a couple of hours playing ball/running. This morning still as sore and even sat down to eat!! I assume soft tissue/bruising as can still weight bear and not sore when i feel down the bone/joints.

Can I give her human painkillers? Had so much conflicting advice!

If she is bright eyed and bushy tailed I would just check with the vet tomorrow. Make her rest today.

Thank you, won't give her anything then. Can you give arnica?

She's more prone to muscle soreness/stiffness as had tetanus few years ago and was v ill. So stiffness/soreness isn't unusual in evenings after doing fetch as it's the sudden stops and turns that causes it, but it is normally gone by morning unless really overdid it day before.

There's no point in ringing vet as it's a Sunday and they will just say to rest her. She is currently fast asleep on my bed as I'm studying all day in room so she'll be there for rest of day lol.

She is otherwise healthy as ate her food and was playing with me on the floor quite happily :)

If you're not sure ring your vet. Never give any human medications without checking with your vet - dr google isn't reliable in these matters but vets know what can be given and doses.
