Have just brought the TB back into work and am about to ring saddler to ask her to come out and do some adjustments to saddle.

From what I can see (very untrained eye here) I think its slightly too wide in front and needs a bit more flocking in front. It sits fine, adequate clearance over withers and spine. Does lift up a little bit if you grab the cantle but not hugely.

However, I took him a bit further yesterday and, when we got back, he was a bit sweaty at rear of saddle but no sweat marks anywhere else although he was warm under there. It does feel when I'm sitting on him that the front of the saddle is quite tight on him so I'm wondering whether its a bit too wide and putting pressure in the front. I can slide my hand down the front on both sides when on the ground but its quite a tight fit to get in there when sitting on him.

I just wanted to know what people thought before I rang the saddler so she has a better idea of what the saddle is doing.

Any thoughts?
