Of course. Might be too hot a day for a Thermatex; notice I said might and you do need to be covered for all temperatures.

absolutly - thermatex for colder days and fleece for warmer days

I have over 50 rugs for 2 horses and one of them is 14hh native x polar bear and doesn't wear rugs - I am in no position to give advice on this

(I have 2 thermatex 1 good for shows one v old for after pre show baths, and c.5 fleeces, good ones for shows and mice eaten ones as under rugs)

Need? Need doesn't come into it. Do you WANT one? If yes, then of course you should have one!

Fleece for traveling, chucking under another rug and a thermatex for cooling down and chilly nights...of course you need both
