Quick question regarding LGV License!

This place is officially my new "google" !
I am having my medical done tomorrow for my LGV license but I dont know what license I need and I am now starting to panic !
C or C1
help !

get both, even if you dont use one you will at least have the option!

Im doing my HGV test (the C) the cost of doing the test is the same and its only £20 more for the course so i may as well do the HGV even if i never need to drive anything over 7.5 tonnes
 
HGV (Heavy goods vehicle) is for trucks that are C+E catagory so the big un's 44 tonne unit and trailer (artics).LGV (large goods vehicles) are for rigids (horseboxes,flatbeds).They were all lumped in the same catagory untill a few years ago!.But now all the classes are differant.

Cool, I need to get my Medical done so that I can get my previsional to, I almost passed out tho when I rang the Doctors £75 !!!!! And the doctor only does it once a week... need to do a bit of saving me thinks!!!!
 
Yep afraid so! The DVLA recommend around £67 for a medical so your Drs isn't really over charging that much
