Quick question

Hi, I’ve been looking for competition clothing recently as I’m preparing to start competing soon, and I just wanted to know, if you wear a navy jacket with red piping is it correct to wear a red tie with it? Or is wearing a coloured tie only correct with a tweed jacket? And if so, what would be correct to wear with navy and red jacket?
