I am off to a One Day Event on Sunday which is through the Pony Club.

I am doing the Open in which is for non Pony Club members!! Think I a little old for the Pony Club now!!

For XC do you have to have your arms covered? Someone told me you have to have your arms covered??

I have a back protector with the shoulders..

Dunno, some PC events might state it in the rules.
I think its just a safety thing, i think i remember one event i rode in i had to wear long sleeves.

Good luck hon. You learnt that test yet

From the pc eventing rules 06 (think 07 rulebook is floating round the lorry..)

Rule 13aiii) For cross country a polo necked sweater or shirt, with long sleevs, and a stock are recommended. Medical Armbands are recommended at all times and compulsory for all cross country phases.

Have to say I thought long sleeves were compulsory and I don't think I've ever seen anyone go xc in short sleeves. If I were you I would just wear long sleeves to avoid upsetting the tack check steward
