Headed off to Howe again on Sunday as a 'practice run' before Fife show this saturday. Lots of hanging around before we even got into our classes by which point Torin was rather bored and found every opportunity he could to entertain himself, including biting my dad and throwing front legs at me! Popped into our in hand class, bit fizzy and strong to trot up so placed 5th in a class of 5. Saddle on, leg up, hadn't even sat my bottom in the saddled and promptly we bounced off at a canter, contained ourselves (barely) for a short warm up and off into our ridden class.....dear lord was his blood up!! We just managed to keep a lid on it for the class, even if he went round the ring like a coiled spring and our individual show was mediocre at best. 4th in a strong class with the judge commenting on him being slightly overbent, which he tends to do when he gets wound up and to be fair to him it was his first show on grass this year :) Lots of riding in our grass jumping paddock this week! I think we need to find another couple of classes we could enter (other than the coloured classes we do) so any suggestions are welcome!
Sadly still waiting on pictures being sent from dad but have one that mum took on her phone:

Well done! At least you finished your ridden class! I left mine on GrayMo for fear of either myself or Anna coming off lol! Gray was in one of those moods. Hyper at best but when the tannoy went off right behind him just as we started the group canter resulted in me just going sideways! Anne's horse was bucking which Gray was making worse and because Doc was bucking Gray was getting worse so one of us had to leave so I left in fits of giggles! My horse is such a plonker! What is more annoying is that the class and thus championship was pretty much at my.mercy until he went sideways squealing!

Bring on the wee coloured job at Fife!

Guess which ones Gray! :D
