Quick rug size question...

Just wondering if you know what rug size a 15.3hh Trakehner would be...shes not a lightweight horse, but not cobby, probably around the same build of an ISH..

&Yes I know I should just get the measuring stick out myself, but thought it was worth asking

At a guess I'd be thinking 6'3", but it is nigh on impossible to tell without seeing the horse. I've had a 13hh pony who always wore 5'9" rugs, and a 15.2hh who wore 5'3" / 5'6". My girl is 15h and wears 6'6" - so its pretty hard to tell!

It also depends on the make of the rug. My 15.2 and a bit hh mare takes 6ft3 with horseware rugs but most other makes that I've tried on her (Shires, Bucas, weatherbeeta) are 6ft0 for the correct size. Can you borrow some rugs to try on your horse? I would start with 6ft3 or 6ft6 but it really depends how long and wide your horse is, also some makes will fit better than others.
