No and yes. Check the show rules, if it is affiliated check the societies rules. Spurs are not the done thing in anything other than Hunters and even then they should only be dummy spurs.
 
I think most rules are not if under 148/153, but yes over, but double check. If unaff and doesn't mention who's rules then whatever you feel is best :)

You are wrong!

Spurs are correct dress in ALL horse classes. So that includes hacks, riding horses, cobs, hunters, coloured horses and Arabs. And yes real Spurs are perfectly acceptable and normal.

For coloureds you should wear Spurs if your horse is plaited and over 153cms or hairy/hogged and over 148cms.
