Quick Soaked Oats Question

Do I use Whole oats or bruised oats or rolled oats

How much are you all paying for a bag at the moment- eveything is going up around here

Does anyone know the dry to soaked weight difference? i.e what is 2lb soaked weight when dry in weight or scoops.

Whole oats. Well we paid £80.00 a ton last year and we were quoted £200.00 some places this year.

Whole Oats, the soaking splits them and as it says in Your Horse magazine....horses have teeth so they can crush their own oats

made me laugh!

Don't know about price i'm afraid, mine are free.

Or for us smaller users, about £6 per bag, I have a problem sourcing whole oats so buy bruised, but they seem to work just as well
