Well todays the day (if they can catch him), I'm hopefully going home to find two or four shoes depending on his behaviour!
Its been a bit of a military action, OH Farrier has told me I'm not allowed to be there and has insistened on the Head Rider holding the boyo, put a few of the groom and YO out lol. (Needed someone extreamlly horse but strong and even tempered to hold him, with no emosional attachment)
He's been barefoot for two years, but the weather and his work load (esp fun rides) has meant he needs shoes. (no foot left)
I've been hitting his feet with a hammer and putting it through my knees, pulling it forward, for three weeks in prep (stands lovely for me). So I'm just hoping I have a horse when i get home.
