Quob’s sadly closing their riding school after some thirty years.

It’s a real loss for adults (plenty of places around for kids locally in comparison), and for anyone wanting higher level exam training or indeed an exam venue anywhere close to the south coast.

I know it’s been on the cards a while, but sadly I don’t think it’ll be the last this financial year. It will remain as a livery yard and competition venue.

That’s very sad but not unexpected. Didn’t they want to knock it down and build houses at one point? The fact that it’s still going to be a livery yard is something I suppose.

Yup, the application was rejected and I think might have been appealed.
