What do they have in common?

I have confirmed days out with them all next season :D :D :D

BUT

It's not just a jolly day out. I'm hunting with them all in the same week. Plus three more packs. Yes, I'm hunting with seven different packs, on seven consecutive days  I'm doing it for charity - Help for Heroes - and the hunts have been wonderfully kind in donating a days hunting with each of them. I have three others unconfirmed, but we're getting there. I'm having to plan miles in advance so I'm not scrabbling around for horses/hunts/houses the week before! I'm planning on the second or third week of November next year.

The Quorn have kindly donated a Monday, and a friend is lending me her amazing pocket rocket. She'll accompany me on her baby horse. I'm hunting with the Cottesmore on the Tuesday, they're my local pack. I'll be on my own horse, and am returning my friends favour and she'll hunt MY pocket rocket. From then on I'm on my own, driving between the packs. I've got a Thursday and a Saturday with the Kimblewick and Bicester (whichever fits best around where I am on the Wednesday & Friday). I'm currently sorting the Wednesday and Friday, and the secretary of the potential Sunday pack is contacting me in the new year. Obviously once I leave home, I'm relying on the generosity of subscribers and / or hireling yards to lend me horses (home brew and chocolates for those who do) and also a bed for the night for yours truly (again, home brew and chocs on offer). I'm perfectly happy in a stable, and at the end of the week that's probably all anyone will want to offer me!  I'm driving myself between packs - on finishing hunting I'll drive down to the next days pack - so am anticipating numerous McDonalds/KFC's and various caffeine stimulants. I've also said I'll put £20 in the pot for every tumble. That could get expensive.

It's proving a logistical nightmare   but I'm sure 'it'll all be alright on the night'! If you want to read more about it, there's a JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/sevenpackssevendays (and while you're there you could be kind and pop a tenner in the pot ;) ) if you fancy donating easily you could text HUNT50 plus the amount you want to donate to 70070.

Oh, and does anyone hunt with these lot? Would be nice to have some support and 'nannies' ! Happy NYE everyone :D

Great idea and we look forwards to seeing you with the Kimblewick :) If the meet is down our end of our rather large country (its a long drive to the other end  ) then you are welcome to the spare room :)

CrazyMare I'll be with the Quorn on the Monday - at the moment there's no definitive date, but it'll be the second or third week in November.

JumpinBeckeyJane that is SO kind of you, thank you! I think I will be with the Kimblewick on the Saturday as I'm (hopefully) out with a Oxon/Gloucs pack on the Friday. :D very excited, but VERY nervous!

Oh Mirage that's very kind of you thank you! I'll see what happens when the meets are confirmed and whether I'll need help (I may need a tea & wee stop!)

And if the Cotts subscriber who donated posts on here - thank you for your very generous donation!

Fabulous idea and immensely impressed that you are taking on this logistical nightmare!

I hope you manage to do a Sat with the Kimblewick as would love to come out and support you. If not, perhaps it's also a good excuse to pay a visit to the Bicester if they are within a reasonable distance. Keep us updated!

You are more than welcome to bunk up at mine but, as I live in London, that would be useless I suspect!!
