I am trying to find out where Quorn hunt are meeting on boxing day this year and the time of the meet, I have heard it will be at Prestwold Hall but have no idea what time, would be very grateful if someone could help me out as I want to take my daughter to see them.

Thanks in advance.

I wish I was out, hacking distance for me :) but still don't have any brakes on the monkey mare :( and not fair on the kiddywinks or my arms! have fun.

OP I take it you are not a regular frequenter of the hunt or else you would have received the meet card? Just a heads up, it is usually considered courtesy to ring the hunt secretary to ask permission to come out if you are not a subscriber :)

I didnt know we needed to contact secretary just to watch the hounds, things may have changed since I last went regularly, so I apologise if I have things wrong:eek:

Thank you for the information :)

I don't think you do need permission to go and see the meet. I think that Becca1305 thought you wanted to take your daughter on a pony to hunt with the Quorn.

Sorry I scan read on my phone! Apologies, I thought you were taking your daughter to join as the boxing day meet is very popular with the kids :) hope you had a lovely day watching them. I couldn't hear them out but my mare obviously could she was running round the field herding the others all day and winding them up as she's the alpha mare *rolls eyes*. She will still be doing it tomorrow the daft bat!
