Wouldnt touch one of his offspring with a 10ft barge pole!!! We have had 3 in the yard, one nervous but ok the other 2 co.plete psychos! One is a bolter, always has been always will be. One day you can have the lovliest horse onthe planet and the next he will just go - through fences, ditches, cars - he went into the ambulance at his last ptp.
The other one was a rodeo show. Took 6 months to break in and never made it to the gallops more than a handful of times as he decked people left right and centre. When he bucked it wasnt just to get you off it was to properly bury you!
Soundest of horses though! We could never break them! Both are now standing in a field doing nothing for everyones safety. They are actually really lovely horses on the ground - just dont sit on them!
The 3rd nervy one is now hacking and jumping as a one to one horse with a lovely lady who dotes on him so he has landed on his feet.
Probably not the response you want to hear but that is my experience with 3 of the critters.
The nervy ond and the bolter were full brothers. I cant remember the mare of the other one. If you flick up racing post the bolter was called Quws Law, the nervy one Barra Lad. We never got the 3rd one to the track and I cant for the life of me remember its mother.
Love For Lydia is the dam of the brothers. By Law Society outofan Alleged mare so should actuallybe quite sane...
