Shocked to see that Alison has lost her battle to cancer and the following complications. Having shown many of her ponies and cobs in the past I am saddened that she is no longer with us, a great character and stalwart of the WPCS. We had huge success with Twyford Electra and Twyford Duchess (secD) Who I rode under saddle at the RWAS. She was never the easiest person to produce ponies for, but always gave credit when it was due. Her sec As were always seen in the hunting field with the Old Surrey and Burstow with a forward going child on board. Her sec Ds were always large and capable of keeping up with most of the thrusters in the field. I used to drink rather a lot of gin with her, and smoke a lot of fags. RIP, can not wait to see you up there.
