R.I.P Lord Killinghurst

Very sad news

We have just heard that very sadly Lord Killinghurst, ridden by New Zealander Andrew Nicholson at Badminton, Burghley and major International Championships, died from a massive heart attack just after being turned out in this morning’s sunshine. His devoted owners, Robin and Nicky Salmon, will miss him hugely and we offer all his connections our sympathy. He was due to have been retired officially here at Badminton in May.
