I lost my girl new years eve it was awfull and not exspected. She came down with cushings 6 weeks ago so had done what needed doing got her on the right medication had bloods run xmas eve all right back down in the normal range i thought yes the pergolide was workin thank god for that. I put her out bank holiday monday for 1 hour went out fine came in cribbled got the vet out said it was brusing so did what we had to the next day no better vet back out searched for absece nothing gave meds etc etc followig day none wait bearing on back left vet back out took off he bandage of her foot and her pedal bone hard started to push threw the sole so had to pts my girl. she went very picefully. R.I.P mummy will be with you soon. love you!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So sorry to hear this what a dreadful start to the new year.
RIP Lulu I am sure you were loved very very much x

So sorry to hear that. It's so hard even when it's the right thing to do.
My share horse, Jez, was pts last new years eve with exactly the same problem as yours. So sad. We bought her an apple tree and planted it in the garden to remember her by.

Thanks for all your messages they have touched my heart i got her back yesterday her casket is lovely i will miss her so much love you lulu. I am just finding it very diffucult at the mo to do anything!
