Im not having a good 2009 so far lost a horse last week and last night brothers dog died in my arms he had a mild stroke last year came back fine very happy and healthy. However last few days a little off it then last night he collasped rushed to vets at 10pm said heart and temp very good, seemed to think it was more of a bad tummy upset nothing to do with stroke. Gave him two injections with cost £6 for two call out to vets £109

which i think is far too steep vet spent 10 min with him. Sent him home and said take to own vets in morning if no improvement within 45min Rocky stopped breathing and died.

Own vet has said other vet got it wrong not very happy just hope he did not suffer his little tail was still wagging right to the end. RIP Rocky run free with your brother.

Condolences for the loss and for the way it happened, but I hope you can try and focus on that there's worse ways to die than in the arms of a person you know with tail still wagging.
