RAW 2013 is coming up! A great time to check out if any of your local vets are doing free rabbit health clinics:

Hi.
I'm in St.Albans Sunday
Hopefully I'll call in and say "hello".
Well done for all your work in raising awareness for rabbit welfare.
Rabbits need plenty of space to run around.
They should be fed on hay (high fibre low energy diet) and NOT muesli style food or carrots!
This is the way to keep hens and rabbits

Daisy was thoroughly checked over and sexed (just to make sure). The nurse inspected her teeth, claws, eyes, ears, had a look at her fur and skin. We also had a chat about health and well being, and recommended that I change bedding from straw to paper.
Really re bedding? Hay is better! Bed them on something that's safe for them to eat! Mine are bedded on hay and fleecy blankets they have straw under their hay during the winter as its more insulating.
Really really. Daisy is a house rabbit though, so less need for insulation. She does eat the shavings occasionally, but they're safe for her to eat apparantly.
