My sister wanted to ride Jerry today, so I said fine, but stay in the school as was very windy and definitely Jerry spooking weather. I was shopping all day so left them to it.

Got back to find she had hacked out (fine, its her neck

) and apparently a rabbit (probably mixy one) had got between his legs and freaked him out, resulting in a bucking fit and him bolting off down the hill (for some reason she had decided to ride him in a rubber snaffle

)

She eventually stopped him and went back to see what had become of the rabbit to find it dead, he had trampled it, (if it was a mixy one then the best thing for it I suppose) So my horse is now a bunny murderer!

My last horse was a duck killer!!!! Cost me a Ragfork! Friend had come to stay to throw her arms round the horse I had bought from her a few months before. She was having a little trot round the outdoor school when the YO's bloody dog once again went for the ducks she kept. Ducks all hurled themselves off the top of the bank that overlooks the school, desperately trying to gain height to get away from the dog. At EXACTLY that moment, my friend trotted past! Face full of ducks for her AND horse, before the ducks sort of fell/scrambled to the ground. Luckily, horsey totally sane about that sort of thing so just did a sort of foot jiggle and mini spook to get out of the way. When the dust had settled, there was one very dead duck on the floor. I felt bad about it but didn't know how to replace one duck (unless frozen from Tesco) so I bought her a Ragfork instead. By the way, this is how stupid that YO is, Ragfork never been used and dog has advanced to killing sheep! {{sighs in disbelief}}

Fly stamped on my kitty a couple of weeks ago. Kitty was ok, luckily (or unluckily overall) he had stamped on her back foot. She is absolutely fine now. Fly does have a nasty streak in him sometimes.

Don't worry too much

The duck killer was quite funny! Mine has killed a fair few rats in his time plus once when out riding with a friend a wood pigeon was flapping about on the floor and her horse literally went out of his way to stamp on it!

So I think between us all,our neds don't really like small furry or feathered things that get in their way!!
