Rabbit neutering & analgesia

[Chinchilla]

Male Rabbit went in for neutering with spayed female companion at 9am.
Collected at 3.50pm and home by 4pm
Still hasn't eaten or moved much.
Syringed fed 4 syringes of critical care at 4.50 ish
Still won't eat or move willingly. Resisted CC a bit then was licking it off himself though...
Vets didn't give any pain relief to take home. Apparently he had some there.

Panicking a bit. What's normal in terms of analgesia and behaviour after neutering???????

Vet should’ve given extra pain meds for at home over the next couple of days post-neuter. Vital that he keeps eating, continue with the critical care till he starts nibbling at food himself. Try tempting him with fresh greens or herbs.
My boys have always been a bit subdued for a few days, but as long as he’s inputting and outputting (also important!) he should be ok.
