Racing people....Steeplechaser "Far Cry"

Could you tell me how to find the record of an ex-steeplechaser, his name is Far Cry and he is about 11/12yrs old now. We believe he was quite good so interested to see his record!

Thank you, yes he is the Irish one, I know the name of the owner

More impressive than I thought actually, and didnt realise he had raced on the flat. He is currently slumming with my horse!!

The Melbourne cup must have done for him........I think I remember him, is he quite a dark bay?

Yes he is very dark bay. He is quite a little horse. As far as I know he retired sound, he is definitely sound now

Unfortunate the owners dont want him to do anything now, so he just lives in a field.

I remember Far Cry very well as I backed him ( betting purposes) a few times during his flat and national hunt career.
I may have some more information about the horse from trainer interviews/stable tours I have at home.

Hiya Kat I looked through all my Martin Pipe information and I didn't find anything that was of note or different to already published information on the post site. I may have some stable tours of Mark Prescott's ( his former trainer before Pipe) but bear with me as I need to find out the folders they are in.
I have found some other information out though mainly from the news section of the Racing Post which I will email you through the messaging service on here. I hope you find some bits of interesting pointers amongst the stories as there are plenty lol.
