Since we moved here we have had problems with ragwort in the bottom part of our field, we have dug it up, spot sprayed it and still it comes back with avengence so had it sprayed properly by a local farmer, 3 weeks after spraying, no difference! Spoke to farmer who took advice on the chemical, turns out because we had no rain and the ground was very dry, it didn't work, so sprayed again, great, we have had loads of rain and the dam weed is dying!! Yippee!
My question is, when can I allow my horses back on that part of the field? Its been just over 2 weeks since the last spraying.
Thanks

Its been nearly 3 weeks since the field was sprayed for the second time with a herbicide and I have moved all of the debris that I can see. Would it be safe to put my horses back to graze now?
Any other info would be gratefully received, thanks.

i would borrow some sheep for a couple of weeks to tidy up properly, before you put the horses back on, just to be on the safe side.
