rain: so i moaned yesterday...

and felt a little wussy later on so donned all waterproofs and attempted some schooling...... some time later with a sopping wet grumpy pony and me unable to see because glasses were covered in rain I gave up and now have mud covered soaking wet tack to sort out.

Today is another day however (I only have 2 days left of my holidays!) got up, opened the curtains..... pi&hing with rain, still There is a lot of flooding locally and my farrier has just cancelled because he wont work outside and I dont have facilities. And the forecast tomorrow? Heavy rain and weather warning, I give up

I'm in Lancashire and it didn't stop yesterday, had a bit of a lull overnight and now tamping it down again .

My mares field companion turns herself inside out in the rain, so they're in again today, it's not worth the risk of injury.

Luckily, have an indoor to ride in , so it's not all grim!

I feel your pain

We haven't had a summer in Aberdeenshire, its been like this for the whole 6 weeks and I go back to school on Monday too. GRRRRRR

But guaranteed it will be beautiful, sunny and hot on Monday because we are returning to school in Aberdeenshire.

Had so many plans for riding all summer, lovely hacks etc got the odd day of riding but not as I had planned grrrrrrrrrrrr

and there's more to come I'm afraid, apparently it's going to turn quite cold on Sunday too, madness must say though things are greening up a bit so it was much needed but we don't want it all at once!
