Hey all, hope you had a fab Christmas! I have a question on raincoats - I have looked at the typical waxed riding raincoats - the long, down to the floor, splay out at the back type jacket. only thing is, they are HUGE - women apparently don't need them! The bit at the back to cover your bum, saddle and a bit of the horse is a great idea - but I will be riding with BIG saddlebags etc on the top, so is this type of raincoat going to work or just get in the way? Finally, it is purley a jacket - no fleece, no specialised goretex etc, which seems to be the travellers choice nowadays. So which is better - the traditional horsemans waterproofs, or something a bit more walker-orientated?
Cheers!!
