My horse is VERY tense when ridden, to the point that he is quite dangerous as he is so unhappy. I am considering rakeline jabs.
I bought him as a remdial horse, so he basically has trust issues and is VERY sensitive and stressy.
He has just had 4 months off due to doing his hind suspensories, so that time off has not helped! although he was also like it before as well as after. He is spanish and they are sensitive anyway which also contributes to it.
I just want him to be happy when ridden, but he is so anxious and tense he is like riding a missile. So much so that I'm paying someone else to bring him back into work at the moment. He has been back into work for 4 weeks now and is still so tense. He has got better but a few people have mentioned rakeline so thought I would look into it.
Any good or bad experiences???
