I bought the Duo about 3 weeks ago, its my first Rambo and I was expecting great things (as Ive heard on here!).

One of the strips on the rug where the velcro neck bit attaches to has ripped. Its ripped almost clean off the rug. So now Ive had to take the neck part off which isnt good since my horse is clipped. Im going to have to send it off to be fixed but there's a 2 week at least wait-list for fixing just now. Im not impressed.

The horse its on is VERY careful with rugs so I cant believe its caused by him...

I've heard great things about these rugs but in my experience (limited though it is!!) I dont find them quite as good as they are made out. Dont get me wrong the rugs are good but I have found several other much more durable rugs which dont cost as much and have lasted years longer! Mine only lasted 1 winter too and grump is great with rugs!!??!!

Agree - the 'build quality' these days does not seem as good as it used to be. TBH I won't buy one now, they never seem to last and are too narrow in the shoulder for my MW. Personally think there are better rugs for less money about.

Personally would take yours back and ask for a refund

I had exactly the same problem with my Duo last winter, although I suspect the wearer of the rug was playing rough with my youngster - the velcro was also ripped away from the inside of the neck cover. Never did like the way the neck cover fitted on it anyway...

i only use mark todd bought it about 5 years ago now. and horse is kept in barb wire field.
has been ripped a couple of times but its the old fashion material i like, dont like these new rugs that are like shell suits.

Definitely get in touch with them, I bought a rambo supreme a couple of years ago and it was when they had zips, my zip broke after about a year I might add. A phoned them and they sent me a knew one free of charge with Velcro instead.

I bought a Duo last year it's been fine but I must say I bought it so I could keep the liner on at night under a stable rug but the liners don't stay on with out the duo that's annoying.
