So the loops at the neck - do they have extra attachments on the outer rug for them or could I technically use a lightweight rug and manage to attach a liner to it?
(I've tried putting liners/stable rugs underneath but they tend to slip and get soaked in the rain
I bought the 100g liner and am using it with a Mark Todd 200g, there's nowhere to attach the neck loops to but the clips on the back just attach to the leg strap rings. We've been using it for 2 weeks day and night and it hasn't moved at all
Excellent I'm glad to hear it may not slip - that may have just saved me £200! I've just bought a Supreme lightweight and would rather use that as an outer rug with the liners, than buy the whole Duo system (with a 300g liner I'd never use!)
I'll have a go with a Duo liner and the Supreme on top
I use the liners under a lightweight no fill amigo summer turnout.
I didnt want to put the rambo outer on without a liner as it will get all greasy YUK!! So have put 100g liner and lw rug.... as it gets colder I have the option of the 200g liner with lw rug, or the 100g liner with the 100g outer rug, so if he gets soaked, no worries....
I have done this for the last 12/18 months, and there is no slippage at all
I also use the liners under a stable rug, just got a m/w rug and two different liners - clip them onto the ring for the fillet string and they don't move.
