Could anyone tell me if these are as good as they're supposed to be?!
My boy has huge shoulders so was worried they wouldn't fit well as there are no darts - anyone else have one for a huge shouldered horse?!
Also are they generous size wise? Bailey is usually 6'6".
Thanks

Bought one for the lad and love it. Several horses on my yard have them, and the comp horses live in them 24/7 all year round practically. After 2 years they are all still like new.

I also bought an additional 100g liner to give more flexibility in weights.

I got one for one of mine about a month ago. Its my first Rambo and I was expecting to be very impressed. However, within 2 weeks the velcro neck attachment on the rug tore off so now Im left with a rug I cant use the neck with so my poor horse is out there clipped without a neck cover on (it was snowing last night....). I did complain to Horseware and they said to send it to them and they'd fix it for free *if* found to be a fault. Well, how on earth do I know! My horse is VERY VERY careful with rugs so it must be a fault but Im not gonna risk forking out for postage to and from Ireland and possibly a bill on top of that.

And without the neck attachment on, I find that water gets in the front - I guess because it is quite roomy on my slim built horse. Maybe a chunkier sort would fill it out more and this wouldnt be a problem. It hasnt leaked anywhere else, doesnt slip and the liner is very useful to wash and change about (also very cosy). Im just a bit miffed about the velcro neck bit ripping off so quickly. My current rug-fixer is taking 3 weeks to fix rugs. Thats a long time to be in his crappy emergency-only rug!

Extra liner is well worth it in all we have two duo rugs plus the 300 g liners they come with and 2 100g liners for variation, never been happier, Ive had my first one over a year now and its like new not a problem my boy was three when i got it and had trashed a few rugs before and the other one got at the weekend for a horse that has a terrible tack record with turnout rugs so much so that he trashed two after one day and its like new still so i think the extra under strap has solved the problem with him, I hope you like yours as much as we like ours when you get one.
