I am looking at possibly getting my pony a rambo duo rug, and I was just wondering on sizing. She is quit narrow in front, and as such most rugs that fit her in front tend to come up a bit short. She is currently in a 5'6 amigo lightweight, which fits perfectly in front but is slightly too short and can get away with a 5'9 in front. She also has a 5'3 weatherbeeta and can get away with a 5'6, although she can also wear a 5'6. How does the rambo duo sizing come up? is it bigger than the amigo, in which case a 5'6 would suffice? Or would a 5'9 be better?

A 6ft LW Amigo fitted my mare round the shoulders, but was too short really, so I got her a 6ft3 Duo. It's perfect with a liner in, but is a tad big just using the outer on it's own. I tend to always use it with a liner and also have the 100g liner to turn it into a 200g middleweight rug.

My 2 wear 6'6 in both Rambo and Amigos. Both fit about the same although if you go for the larger size then you will have plenty of scope to accommodate the liners. I absolutely love these rugs and my mare has one of the original ones dating back to 2006. Its still going strong and never leaks....love them!

Go up if if you want to use the liners although my horse fits best the same size with or without. I have found all their rugs come up the same size. Lovely rugs:)

Mine has same size in amigos, rhinos & Rambos, liners don't seem to make much difference with the fit on mine. Great rug would recommend.
