Who has this rug? Is it really worth all that money? Do you have one or two liners (ie. the lighter one and then the heavy one)?

Is the outer shell 100% waterproof as in does not leak at all, even in the worst winter weather. Just I have a friend who has one and she says it leaks like hell round the edges in even a quick downpour!

Opinions please.

I have one of these and LOVE it!

It's really versitle because of all the combinations you can make up, and because it's sooo breathable, my boy wears it as his stable rug too, so that means less rug changes!

It never rubs his skinny high wither, and has not leaked to date. Best of all though- it fit's in the washing machine!

I only have one liner, which i think is 300g (it's the only one they did when it first came out). IMO the rugs are well worth the money, and they have a three year gaurentee (your friend should get in touch with them if hers is leaking). I would deffinatly buy more rambo rugs after this one.

Hope that helps.

I have one and we're just heading into our second winter with it.

Ive had no problems at all with the duo leaking (nor with any other rambo T/Os) and all i can assume is that either your friend has a faulty one (and in which case should send it back) or its been washed incorrectly or something

My horse used it as his sole turnout last year and as we're right out in the middle of the peak district, we really do get our fair share of very heavy, driving rain.

I have the 300g liner and both the liner and the outer shell will fit in a normal washing machine (seperatly that is!). I love the rug, its very versatile if you're looking for a medium weight and heavy weight turnout in one. The liner attaches pretty damn securely and ive never had issues with the rug slipping at all. In fact, my silly horsey managed to snap one of the cross sircingles (how is this spelt?!) last week and it still isnt slipping (albeit its off for repair soon!)

The tail flap is very generous.. not like some of the cheaper turnouts where the tail flap resembles a napkin and the neck cover doesnt rub.

Finally, the liners dry extremely fast! I can take mine home, throw it in the washer and have it back on the horse by the following morning which im convinced must be much more hygenic for the horses. They're pricey for sure, but Ive always had rambo turnouts and trust them completly.

The only other thing i can think to mention is that the liners will also attach to other horsewear rugs. While this probably isnt of interest to many people, for my especially cold boy we used the liner under both his stable rug and his duo turnout last year.. it just meant that when turning out early in a morning, we didnt have to unrug him completly and put a cold rug next to his skin. I know its a minor thing but it was still a plus point for me

We have a few on our yard - fabulous.

If your friends leaked around the shoulders - it ain't fitting the horse properly!!

I have one for each of my girls - brilliant rugs. Never leaked, never rubbed and never slipped - I have the heavy liner only at the moment but will buy the lighter liner soon - that way it'll be the only rug I need to use all winter.
